International FM is the debut album by Duoya. The Swedish duo is formed by Gustav Horneij and Dimitrios Karatzios, known notably for their other project Organic Pulse Ensemble. The album is recorded live on multitrack during lockdown with the particularity that the two musicians were never in the same room while recording, sending files back and forth to each other while respecting the social distancing. The music feels like it was recorded decades ago and conserved in a time capsule all this time. Except it was not, these are all new compositions and recordings. While mixing vintage and modern equipment, Duoya provides a timeless quality to their music. International FM where the FM stands for Funk Machine, is a lovely body of work that will take your attention and make you vibe on a funky and jazzy atmosphere like you\u2019ve probably not heard in a while.<\/p>\n
