And we are officially back from our Summer Break! To hit the new season off, we’re starting with the first single from our new series “Beats Nouveau”! Inspired by Art Nouveau, the idea was to make a series that explores the progression and innovation within an existing art form in this case Lofi Beats.
To start off the new series we have a beautiful track by ddddeeeellllaaa!
Blue was created while remembering the night scene of Tokyo during the artist’s student life. Back then he used to play in a club called “Blue” which was a cool Jazz venue in Minami Aoyama that hosted great live events and parties in the late 90s and early 2000s. This era of the artist’s life is very nostalgic and he translated this feeling through this new track as an homage.
