Urban Waves Records is a forward thinking label hosting exceptional artists from all around the world. We aim to share our passion for music and offer something different with each release. We like to offer our music on classic supports like tape & vinyl as we believe these can better carry the true soul and essence of the music imprinted.
We are always open to new music and an evolving scene. While we work with well established artists we are always open to welcome and give a home to new emerging talents and help them build a career in music.
We are direct partners with Radio Juicy as both labels are housed under the same company. We have a single team directing both labels. The main difference is that each label’s repertoire is handled by a different project manager. And we like to have both labels to be specialized in (not so) different styles. Radio Juicy is more focused toward hip hop in general. As Urban Waves Records goes toward a broader and at times a little more experimental approach.
Radio Juicy
Founded in 2012, what started out as a passion project under the form of a weekly podcast quickly became one of the most acclaimed independent labels for instrumental hip hop in the world. Working with an international roster Radio Juicy has released over 100 albums in the past decade harbouring some of the finest independent producers of today.
