Downstate is un-interested in what most people find interesting. On a Saturday night you’ll most likely find him in a dark corner of his room building some nerdy electronic music device, making music or circuit bending. Failing that there is a high probability he is watching depraved horror films.
Downstate has been making music and performing live for years now, and over the last few years has played at some pretty special underground events. Recently Downstate played live in Japan as part of Sub Culture Tokyo. And over the last few years has played along side the likes of Pixelord, Kuedo, Doshy, and Mono Poly to name but a few.
The Drip Taper EP is his latest project which has been in the making during late 2012 and contains tracks he’s been playing in live-sets last year. It comes as a digital and limited cassette tape edition.The tape is mixed and plays like a live performance, so if you haven’t had the chance to hear him live yet, now is your chance.
