Kratos Himself is a young producer from The Netherlands, he appeared on such projects & labels as Youngbloods, Jus Like Music, Cult Classic and Project: Mooncircle. With Imaginarium Revisited we wanted to bring you a combined release of two of his EP's that never had a physical issue before. You'll find here his original EP's "A Town Called Imaginarium" & "Dandelion Seeds" on a very unique orange 2 LP vinyl collector edition with new masters and a couple new bonus tracks to keep it fresh!
Urban Waves Records is very proud to welcome Kratos Himself to its team with this introductory album to his musical world. In our eyes the 2 EPs deserved a physical release and with the kind green-light from Jus Like Music we could make this dream come true!
Imaginarium Revisited aim to transcend the styles between electronica, downtempo, instrumental jazz & hip hop. All you have to do is close your eyes, relax and let the music take you to your inner sanctum where dreams, imagination and reality combine to make one.
Quotes from the original releases :
"Blending the organic with the electronic, A Town Called Imaginarium is a beautiful EP that straddles a line between soundscape and song, with ethereal melodies and tight jazz breaks."
"Stylistically, Dandelion Seeds delicately balances electronic beats and samples with fine instrumentation to create intricate songs, far beyond the realms of a typical beat tape or electronic release. At times it can be brooding and pensive, and then seamlessly move up through the gears in a highly emotive fashion."
All tracks produced by Kratos Himself:
featuring additional instrumentation from bass player Marc Machielse, plus singers Ditte de Muynck and K.J.B.
